What is the NEW #TuziBBQChallenge12?

My name is Rob Tuzi and this will be my 12th BBQ Challenge to Canadian grillers.

WELCOME TO THE NEW #TUZIBBQCHALLENGE12 & IT'S COMIN-ATCHA, WITH A BRAND NEW FORMAT:

My challenge will now be split into 5 separate BBQ category challenges; the 5 categories are:

MEAT
FISH
VEGGIE
PIZZA
DESSERT

You can enter any 1, multiple or all 5 of the categories, it's up to you!
You must submit only 1 entry per category chosen!
You have the entire month of the challenge to submit your entry or entries, it's that easy!
Celebrity Chefs & Guests will be the Judges of all the winning entries, no computer software!
There will be 3 Winners chosen from each category: a 1st Place Winner, a 2nd Place Winner & a 3rd Place Winner for a total of 15 Canadian Winners!

I want to challenge & motivate you to get out there and grill something & reward you at the same time.

Make any BBQ meal you want, from 1 or up to all of the 5 categories, using anything you have.
Take a picture AND a video of your BBQ meal and upload it to your Instagram page

This Challenge is open to Canadian Grillers only. I will host this new format once a year, during the month of May.

HOW MANY WINNERS WILL THERE BE?

There will be a total of 15 Winners, 3 from each of the 5 categories.

HOW MANY CATEGORIES CAN I ENTER?

You can enter into as many of the categories that you want.

What INFORMATION MUST I INCLUDE IN MY INSTAGRAM POST?

You must include ALL of the following in your post:

at least 1 picture of the meal
at least 1 video of the meal
your ingredient list
your measurements used
cooking instructions

HOW MUCH IS IT TO ENTER EACH CATEGORY & IS THERE A DISCOUNT?

Each category costs only $5 to enter. To receive a discount you must register for all 5 categories and you will pay only $20 for all 5 entries.

Do I need an Instagram page?

YES. This contest is played online, using the Instagram App.

BBQ Break acknowledges, that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.

My Instagram page is private, can I still join this challenge?

YES, however you must accept my request to follow you. I need to see your Instagram page and stories of your meals.

What kind of grills or smokers can I use?

I want you to #MakeItHappen and use any heat source you have or can make.

They include and are not limited to:

- gas/propane

- ceramic

- smoker

- outdoor oven

- firepit

- egg

- pellet

- flat top

- charcoal

- pizza ovens

- deep fryer

What can't I use to cook on or in?

- NO Stove top

- NO Indoor cooking

- NO Crockpot

- NO Microwave

- NO Air Fryer

Can an employee of a sponsor or a sponsor participate in this challenge?

YES, as winners are chosen by Celebrity Chefs & Special Guests.

Can someone win prizes FROM THE OTHER CATEGORIES?

YES, you have a chance of being a winner in each category you enter.

Do I need to register for this challenge?

YES. In order for me to track all the participants, I must know your Instagram account name, so I can record your entry into the appropriate category. I also want to communicate by email, in case the Instagram App freezes, locks, goes down or gets hacked or any other foreseen scenario.

Is my name & email registration kept confidential?

YES, it is not given or sold; however if you won a digital gift card, then your email will be forwarded to the sponsor.

I'm ready! How do I play?

Simply grill anything you want on anything you have!

Starting on the first day of the month the challenge is in, until the last day of the month, you must post a picture AND video, of what you grilled on your Instagram Page; even though you can also post it on your stories, please keep in mind, since it only lasts for 24 hours, I do not want to have the risk of missing it, therefore it must be posted on your Instagram Page.

IMPORTANT: you MUST use my hashtag of #TuziBBQChallenge12 (be sure to spell it correctly) and MUST tag me @bbqbreak on your post(s).

How do I register for the #TuziBBQChallenge12?

Click on the Registration button on the home page.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN A PRIZE BUT THE SPONSOR & PRIZE ARE IN ANOTHER PROVINCE?

You can ask the sponsor to honour and hold the prize until you visit the province. You can ask the sponsor to donate it to a family member or friend who lives in that province, on your behalf. You can turn it down and ask the sponsor to add it back into the next challenge to be used as a prize. Lastly maybe the sponsor can send you an alternative prize pack that you both agree on.

How are the winners chosen?

For the first time, Celebrity Chefs & Special Guests will be invited to watch your video(s) and look at your picture(s) and base there decision on your overall character, plate presentation, photos and degree of creativity!
